Farmer groups and cooperatives are encouraged to buy drones together and share them, spreading the cost. Also, private companies are stepping in to offer drone rental services, so farmers can use the technology without having to buy their own. This helps overcome the money barrier and allows more farmers to benefit from this amazing technology. Looking ahead, drones are set to do even more. When combined with artificial intelligence (AI), they can accurately identify crop diseases and recommend the best treatments. They also offer economic benefits by lowering the need for manual labor and speeding up farm work. In times of natural disasters, drones are invaluable, quickly assessing damaged farmlands to help with relief efforts.
