Droidcon Bangladesh 2025 is returning, and the excitement is electric! After being on hold for eight years, this premier conference for Android developers is set for June 20–21, 2025, at Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB) in Dhaka. Over 500 attendees are expected, including developers, students, tech professionals, and company teams from both Bangladesh and abroad. The program features more than 20 technical sessions led by 19 international speakers, offering insights into the latest trends in Android and mobile technology. What’s on the agenda? Day 1 (June 20) kicks off with an opening ceremony, followed by 10 sessions on topics like Kotlin, Flutter, clean architecture, user interface design, and real-life developer stories. Day 2 includes 9 sessions focusing on Android security, AI in mobile testing, Kotlin Multiplatform, and leadership in engineering teams. Speakers represent companies like JetBrains, NativeWaves, Wolt, Brain Station 23, Cheq, Pathao, and Zelf, sharing tips, tools, and techniques. There are also special features like a guest panel, tech quiz, raffle draw, and closing session. Plus, attendees can enjoy code labs, network with peers, and explore hands-on demonstrations. This year, Bangladesh hosts its second Droidcon, building on the success of the inaugural event held in 2017, which attracted more than 300 developers. Now, with 500-plus participants, Dhaka is stepping onto the global stage alongside cities like Berlin, London, San Francisco, and Nairobi. The event is organized by Sunnat629 Dev in collaboration with TechAByte Solutions, IUB, and IEEE Bangladesh, with sponsorship from Dynamic Solution Innovators Ltd, Brain Station 23, and check. Community groups like BDApps, JetBrains, and Agile Bangladesh are also on board. According to Mohi Us Sunnat, Lead Organizer and Senior Android Engineer at NativeWaves AG, “This is a step to build the future of Android in Bangladesh,” marking a big opportunity for local talent to meet industry experts. If you’re a student learning coding, a developer shaping apps, or a tech company seeking new ideas, Droidcon Bangladesh is a great chance to learn, connect, and grow. You’ll hear fresh ideas, learn new tools, and make helpful connections all in just two days. As Bangladesh continues to strengthen its tech sector, events like this help young developers and software teams stay ahead. They build confidence, spark innovation, and bring new ideas into the country’s growing tech world.
