The rekindling of relations commenced formally in April 2025, with the first Foreign Office-level meeting since 2010. This pivotal dialogue, held in Dhaka between Pakistan’s Foreign Secretary, Ms. Amna Baloch, and her Bangladeshi counterpart, Mr. Mohammad Jashim Uddin, set a constructive tone for future collaborations. The renewed engagement aims to explore and capitalize on shared interests, moving past historical complexities towards a future of mutual benefit.
