Intex Bangladesh 2025 to Boost Global Sourcing and Industry Ties

by Bangladesh in Focus

Intex Bangladesh 2025 is set to become a major platform for strengthening industry partnerships and expanding global sourcing opportunities in the textile and apparel sector. In Dhaka, the international textile sourcing exhibition is scheduled for January 16 to January 18, 2025, at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB). Organised by Worldex India, the event is returning to Bangladesh for its third edition. With Bangladesh being the second-largest exporter of garments globally, Intex Bangladesh is seen as a key platform for connecting domestic manufacturers with international buyers and suppliers. Over 200 exhibitors from more than 10 countries are expected to participate this year, representing sectors such as fabrics, accessories, yarns, dyes, and digital solutions. Intex is also known for its strong focus on industry dialogue. The event will feature the “Interactive Business Forum (IBF)” which includes seminars, discussions, and networking sessions on sustainability, innovation, and sourcing strategies. Experts from across Asia will share insights on how Bangladesh’s RMG sector can grow sustainably and strengthen ties with buyers from emerging markets. This year’s edition is particularly important as Bangladesh continues its transition to a more diversified and sustainable garment industry. Local manufacturers are increasingly investing in green technologies and smart production methods to meet global demand for ethical sourcing. The exhibition is expected to highlight eco-friendly fabrics, automation tools, and cutting-edge textile technology. Speaking about the event, a representative from Worldex India said, “Bangladesh is a hub of opportunity, and Intex 2025 is designed to accelerate partnerships, foster innovation, and drive the sector forward.” One of the key highlights will be the participation of sourcing teams from the European Union, Latin America, and ASEAN countries, which will help expand Bangladesh’s export market beyond traditional regions. The fair is expected to attract thousands of visitors, including sourcing heads, designers, exporters, and suppliers. For many Bangladeshi manufacturers, this will be a valuable opportunity to showcase their products, forge new deals, and understand future trends in fashion sourcing. With growing interest in sustainable production and responsible sourcing, events like Intex Bangladesh are playing a vital role in transforming the textile landscape of the country. As global buyers look for reliable, cost-effective, and green partners, Bangladesh’s apparel industry is stepping up—and Intex is helping pave the way.
