The confusion primarily stemmed from widespread reports suggesting a “lifetime residency” option for a one-time payment of AED 100,000 for Indian and Bangladeshi nationals under a new nomination-based scheme. This generated considerable public interest and, subsequently, misinformation.Due to the “significant public misunderstanding about the specifics,” the Rayad Group declared on July 9, 2025, that it will stop providing advisory services linked to the Golden Visa. This move aimed to prevent further misunderstanding and ensure clarity regarding the official application procedures and requirements. Despite this specific development, the broader UAE Golden Visa program continues to attract global talent and investment, including from Bangladesh.
