The grand award ceremony, held on June 24, 2025, at the Osmani Memorial Auditorium in Dhaka, brought together industry leaders, government officials, and environmental advocates. The event served as a platform to acknowledge the pioneering efforts of these factories in integrating sustainability into their core operationsA notable gathering took place, featuring important guests such as Brig Gen (retd) Dr M Sakhawat Hussain, who serves as the Adviser for the Ministries of Labour and Employment and Shipping, and also Adilur Rahman, as the Chief Guest. Khan, Adviser to the Ministries of Industries and Housing and Public Works, as Special Guest, underscored the national importance placed on green industrialization. The factories represent a wide spectrum of Bangladesh’s manufacturing prowess, ranging from garments and textiles to electric and electronics, food and beverage, leather, jute, pharmaceuticals, steel, and cement.
