Bangladesh is set to make a major advancement in outsourcing with the upcoming sixth annual BPO Summit Bangladesh 2025, taking place soon. The theme of this event, “BPO 2.0: Revolution to Innovation,” is scheduled for June 21 and 22 in Senaprangan, Dhaka. This major event brings together outsourcing professionals, local and global tech firms, and students in a two-day celebration of growth and innovation. This summit mixes two important areas: Outsourcing, a core sector in Bangladesh’s digital economy, and Education, the other key area supporting young talent. For outsourcing, the highlight is how Bangladesh is turning from static service jobs to creative and tech-driven work that meets global demand. For students and fresh graduates, the summit provides a gateway into modern career paths through educational sessions and job fairs. The Bangladesh Association of Contact Center and Outsourcing, referred to as BACCO, is in charge of organizing the summit. They are supported by the ICT Division, ICT Business Promotion Council, BTRC, and Ministry of Commerce. In a press conference on May 22, BACCO leaders highlighted how past summits helped create thousands of jobs and how the new theme shifts focus to technology, automation, and creative thinking. Over 30 local and international IT/BPO companies will have exhibition booths. Attendees can learn about AI tools, customer support platforms, and software services. There are also nine themed seminars and workshops, including one for freelancers’ growth and another on policy improvements for IT-enabled service exports. A key feature is a special career fair designed for students. Young people coming to the workshops will learn how to make good CVs and get ready for job interviews. They will also get advice about working online for companies and finding freelance jobs in education. The summit supports Bangladesh’s goal to create 100,000 outsourcing jobs and $1 billion in export revenue by 2025. An essential workshop called “Happiness at Work” is conducted by an inspiring coach. This session blends Outsourcing and Education by showing how happy, well-supported employees and freelancers achieve better results. It teaches teamwork, stress management, and positive workplace culture. Another highlight is the freelancer panel, where local gig economy achievers share success stories and challenges. This theme connects outsourcing and ongoing education, as freelancers learn new skills and adapt to changing global trends. Experts say the summit marks a shift in Bangladesh’s outsourcing scene — moving from basic tasks to innovative, tech-rich services. The summit also teaches young professionals the skills they need to join the digital workforce and stay competitive. The BPO Summit 2025 provides a chance for a brighter future by linking education with outsourcing. It shows how Bangladesh is building a vibrant, skilled workforce ready to take on global challenges. Through innovation, knowledge sharing, and youth-focused education, Bangladesh’s outsourcing sector is truly transforming.
